- The Cyan Ink Stick is a Combination of Plastic Ink and Iron Oxide. All Color Ink Stick contains a portion of Iron Oxide. To print an image, a laser printer will magnetize the drum inside the laser. This drum will pull the melted Ink Stick formula onto the drum in the image desired to be printed. The drum will roll over the document while melting the Ink Stick and producing your image.
- Each laser printer melts the Ink Stick at different temperature levels. The Ink Stick formula needs to be designed specifically for your color laser printer model. Many companies will use the same Ink Stick formula for all printers resulting in incomplete fusing of the formula to your document. Each of our Cyan Ink Sticks is specifically designed for the fusing temperature required by your Xerox 340, 350 & 360 laser printer.
